Great southern breakfast. We got the cheese grits and comfy chicken biscuit. Both were very palatable. The comfy chicken biscuit had a nice flavor and the chicken was perfect. I especially liked the gravy. Very savory. Service was good. Friendly service. Prices were reasonable and you get a lot of food.
Simple, no frills, country diner in the heart of Atlanta. We received friendly and hospitable service. We ordered a variety of breakfast items, all of which were alright. While it was an overall solid experience, I don’t know that the sometimes incredibly long wait times make sense. I would come back again when convenient but likely wouldn’t wait more than 30 minutes for the experience.
The parking was a bit difficult, but free nonetheless. My friend and I arrived within an hour of close and the service was pretty spotty: I had to get up to ask for drink refills. There food was fantastic - good ole southern comfort brunch food. The pancakes are humongous! But of a creepy aesthetic but to each their own. Overall recommend.
Love the vibes of this spot, our waitress was attentive and very friendly. The food hit the spot and we were sat by the window so it just felt like such a relaxing morning.
Will be back again soon!~
I am never disappointed when I stop by this hometown cooking spot. The French toast ($13) was top tier. My husband has the biscuits and gravy and turkey sausage. I love the a la crate sides for when I’m indecisive or just want a little bit of everything. Parking is tight but if you get in early or when it’s not peak time you can find a spot.
